The league leading NY Shamrocks teams will take a break from CSL action this weekend as they face into three important State Cup ties.

Always a great experience, the Rocks will be looking to a decent run of cup games to further boost what has so far been a strong season across the board.

Following on from their excellent 6-1 victory away to Doxa, Glen Wrafter’s first team will host Port Jefferson reserves at 1pm on Sunday in St Michael’s Playground.

The Rocks reserves will be sending a big squad to the Hamptons to take on East Hampton FC, relative newcomers to the Long Island Soccer League.

It’ll be a 200-míle round trip for Stevie Doyle’s team but they face into this 2pm clash buoyed by three wins in a row in the league.

Later that evening, Barnstonworth Premier host Paddy Mc Carry’s Over 30s in the Marth Cup (Randall’s Island Field 75, 8pm).

At the same time, the Shamrocks Women’s team will be taking on Smoking Aces at Lief Ericson in Brooklyn.
