Sunday brought three wins from three, 14 goals and none conceded.
Paddy Mc Carry and the Over 30s got their league campaign going with a solid 2-0 win against Barnstanworth. First half strikes from Tayfun Gokmen and an exquisite volley from Alex Berne ensured the three points.

Last game of the day saw the first team round off a great afternoon of soccer, scoring big again to beat Japan 5-0. Five second half goals gave Glen Wrafter’s men their second win in a row.
Four goals came from two of the new boys: Leo Nizzi and Mohamed Fofana both getting a brace with Brendan Lane’s first goal of the season sandwiched in between Nizzi and Fofana’s efforts.
All three men’s teams play at home next Sunday with three tough games expected. The firsts and reserves play Polonia at St Michael’s at 1pm and 11am while the Over 30s take on arch rivals Manhattan Celtic at 8am in Randall’s Island.
